Munich Experience with Chevrolet Camaro

Last weekend we were invited to so-to-say the most beautiful city in Germany. We headed Munich in order to test and drive the newest Camaro.

I am not going to say much about the machine itself, because I don’t feel like an appropriate  person to do so. What was important for me was the limitless high way and the white color 🙂 I really enjoyed the experience, it was my first annual 220 km/h and my first time driving a sport car of this range.

The way I see it, it is worth to come and see it for yourself – you have time until the end of August to book your own test drive under this link.

Apart from seeing the city from behind the wheel, you have the opportunity to experience the surroundings. Bayern is so beautiful!

The exhibition ‘ Letters to Andy Warhol’ is a part of the whole Chevrolet event. Warhol’s cars never became as instantly recognizable as his signature images of American consumer products and celebrities. Nevertheless, he periodically returned to the depiction of automotive vehicles in works throughout his career from the 1940s until his death in 1987, examining their place in popular culture and the American mind.

The Flashing Meadows

We stayed at one of the most interesting, if not THE MOST interesting, hotel we have ever been to – The Flashing Meadows. The building is located in the heart of Munich, around 15 minutes walking (5 minutes by car) to Deutsches Museum ( where Chevrolet event takes place), and around the same to Marienplatz, the main attraction of Munich.

What is so special about this place? There are some standard apartments on the rooftop of the building, but the 3rd floor is home to 11 unique rooms, all of which were created in collaboration with selected personalities from all over the world. They feature reinforced ceilings over 4 meter high and super fancy elements of interior design, such as fancy lamps, hammock or mezzanine.

There is a car park available and there are several coffee shops and cute little restaurants in the area.

Recommended for :

  • couples
  • business travelers
  • hen and bachelor party – the rooftop bar is quite an experience
  • young friends traveling
  • people wanting to explore the city
  • interior design admirers

    1. It’s the name of the exhibition at Deutsches Museum – Warhol’s cars never became as instantly recognizable as his signature images of American consumer products and celebrities. Nevertheless, he periodically returned to the depiction of automotive vehicles in works throughout his career from the 1940s until his death in 1987, examining their
