Claudia’s Green Monster Recipe

In today’s post I’d like to present my favorite Green Monster recipe. I drink green smoothie everyday (or at least five times a week), and a lot of snapchaters keep asking me about the ingredients I use.

Well, I usually let myself being creative – or shall I say – I use what is left over in my fridge 🙂

There are some ingredients, however, I am trying to ‘stock’ regularly.

The Green Monster I recommend today is the one I like, and probably one of the healthiest options to start a day.

Note* freeze banana(s) a day before – it will make the Green Monster smooth and creamy!

Ingredients (for 2 people) :

  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 apple
  • 1 celery stick
  • 1/2 orange (squeezed)
  • 2/3 kale leaves OR a handful of baby spinach
  • 2 tsp  Chia Seeds
  • 2 tsp wheatgrass
  • 2 tsp cane sugar
  • a handful of dietary fiber ( I use apple)

Blend the whole thing for a couple of minutes and enjoy for (not as!) your brekkie!

Green Monster will keep you full for the whole morning, and healthy for the rest of your life.
