FINAL SALE – what is worth buying?

I have already mentioned about ‘slow fashion’. Just to recap – it is a concept that encourages people to buy clothes (and stuff) they truely need – of a good quality, and prefarably timeless. It is believed slow fashion is essential to not only complete a proper wardrobe, but also to find the right personal style. It does seem easy, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, many people, counting my friends in, forget about ‘the timeless’ when there are some sales around. Well, getting through the sales period is difficult, but manageable. There are some tips you might want to follow in order to keep your account full (as if), and your wardrobe spacey.

First of all, for those of you who live in London, or planning a longer trip to London – you should put visiting Bicester Village Outlet on your ‘to-do’ list. Read more about the place here

What you should always look for?

#1 Beige Stilettos FullSizeRender

It is needed for every woman to have a pair of beige stilettos. They make a leg longer, and look extremely sophisticated. To me, they are better than their black sisters. There is no need for Jimmy Choo (around £200 for this pair at Bicester Village,UK), the shoe stores such as Primamoda have a lot of them-like in stores. Look for the subtle design – perhaps these ASOS pair would suit?

#2 White Shirt

The white shirt is always there to save your #ootd. Always. A good tip – if you are not exactly a fashion person, and don’t really give a damn about trends, buy two (or more) white shirts hanging somewhere front in ZARA. It will refresh your wardrobe, and there are 99% chances you just got something fashionable. High street shirts are, unfortunately, not always the best quality – this is why you should head to the shops specialising in shirts if you want the item to last a bit longer. I recommend Hawes & Curtis ( next outfit post is on its way).

#4 Designer Bag

This particular paragraph is dedicated to fashionistas. The truth is, a designer bag might stay with you forever. Or you can sell it on Ebay once you’ll get bored. Outlets, such as Bicester Village outside London, offer the whole variety of bags half priced, or discounted to even up to -70% during the sale period. I would recommend to buy ‘the safe color’ – black, red or beige, and in a classy shape or smaller ‘Chanel-like’.

#5 Good Quality Sunglasses

I assume you don’t belong to the group who shake their sunnies off twice a year. If not, treat yourself with a pair of good ones. Visit TKMaxx – you will find a designer sunnies for even up to -70% off retail price. Or go for the classy Ray Ban.

#6 Leather Jacket

There is a possibility you are going go hand your leather jacket over to your offspring in the future. Leather jackets match jeans, dresses, even coctail dresses, shorts, wide leg trousers, mini skirts, and the weird thing that you have in your wardrobe. Why not to have one? The black leather jacket was spotted in DKNY store in Bicester Village for a bargain price – the brand produces amazingly good quality leather pieces. In case I have just convinced you, hunt in outlet centres, vintage shops, online or high street. What about this one? Disconted from $221,56 to $39,88?
