It probably won’t be a surprise that architecture is the greatest source of inspiration for not only fashion designers but stylists , fashion bloggers and , according to my observations , many other creative fields including photographers , choreographs and make up artists. Taking an inspiration from an architecture does not neccessarily mean very popular (on the Parisian catwalk) skyscraper shapes but the colour palette and mood which is not always that obvious. My favourite places to take an idea from are romantic Catalan alleyways or Lisbon’s Alfama but I’ve found my Himmel here in Berlin’s Friedrichshein, too! It’s the oldest public park in Berlin called Volkspark and its beautiful fountain ,Märchenbrunnen -Fountain of fairy tales, that was built between 1905 and 1913. It doeas remind me of a fairy tale , especially on a day like that! The most beautiful entrance to the park I have probably seen in my life (I’m sorry, my dearest Hyde Park) One of the most romantic places in Berlin for sure. I styled my outfit of the day as romantic and I kept the colour palette of the place. Grey , cappucino and beige with a hint of red . The Marine printed scarf is not the leading trend this year but , the way I see it , it one of the most sophisticated accessories of our times. Wide leg trousers inspired by the 70’s are the perfect alternative to long skirts and dresses and are very chic combined with delicate accessories . They are to be found in Orsay and ZARA from what I’ve seen in Berlin’s shops.

I think architecture is such a popular influence because of its accessibility– meaning, to experience it all you have to do is look around!
Those pants are such a dramatic look— very fun!
